All about us
Birchwood Pre-school is an amazing place for children to start their learning journey.
We are situated within the grounds of Birchwood Primary School and offer care and education to children aged 2-4 years from both our local area and further afield as well as before and after-school care for the the children who attend Birchwood Primary School.
Our opening times are 7.45 - 5.45 Monday-Friday (Term-time only)

As we changed our trading status we are awaiting re-inspection but at our last inspection we were rated good - a copy of the inspection is available on request
Our Team
We pride ourself on our caring atmosphere, where children are encouraged to love learning and achieve their goals. Children joining Birchwood Pre-school will grow together in a setting that sets high standards and expectations. However, for children to a flourish, staff and parents must work together.
Our dedicated and professional team promote self-confidence, self-assurance and self-regulation and take care to couple this with excellent teaching.
We also run a successful Wraparound Care Club (WAC club), giving parents the opportunity to access excellent quality childcare between 7:45am - 8:30am and 3:15pm - 5:45pm.
The desire of all Staff at the setting is to develop the most creative and exciting setting that we can, so that all children are inspired to learn and develop a wide range of skills that will equip them for life.
